On the Board of Supervisors, my top priority has always been serving you.
That’s why I fought to bring spending under control – working to streamline and balance our budget without new or higher taxes, in spite of unprecedented revenue declines. We now have a multi-million dollar reserve to ensure service to taxpayers.
As a member of the Board, I’ve worked hard to reform public pensions by insisting county employees pay their fair share of their own benefits, not taxpayers.
Reducing traffic congestion is also one of my top priorities. I led the effort to squeeze out savings while completing the I-80 Roseville Bottleneck and the recently completed Auburn-Folsom Road widening projects.
As a businessman, I know the importance of growing jobs in our county. I’m working with economic development agencies, fighting to reduce unemployment and increase funds for small businesses to grow.
I’ve lived my entire life in Placer County. I grew up here, and now my wife and I are raising our two children here. I’m dedicated to serving you and protecting our way of life. For us, and for our children.
